Lose your energy, enjoy the day

May 18, 2008

Yea, it was sickening, it was unbelievable, it was out of nowhere. Me and a bunch of my friends just came back from our sudden trip to KL (Kuala Lumpur) and Genting Highlands. We spent around 90% of our time in enjoying the trip and the rest 10% on sleeping. The thing that made me happy is my first time ever entering casino in Genting and was also my first seen of a casino environment. My friend Philip Chan explained to me some of the famous games played by people.

Our first stop is KL Pavilion and not to forget Dr Tun Mahathir’s The Loaf.

J.Co Donuts is one of the foods that you need to try when in Pavilion.

Who can forget about J.Co Donuts in Pavilion. A dozen of sweets and memories.

And then we moved on to Mid Valley and there’s nothing to be compared with this, Carl’s Jr.

When it was serve to my table, I couldn’t believe it at all. It has beaten both McD and Burger King seriously.

We were at Genting Highlands at the end of the trip. The weather condition for today is a bit weird but we managed to play the Flying Coaster and it was fantastic.

The Ancient Sunset

May 10, 2008

Hmm I have no ideas why I named it as the ancient sunset, but it was taken few days ago when me and my friends decided to come down for a while to capture this sunset located at the Maritime Museum, the big ship you would seen often on the way to Mahkota Parade or Dataran Pahlawan. I need comments and critics to improve my photo shooting skills, thanks.

This one was taken back of the ship where you could see a clear view of the sunset.

Before I even discovered the perfect spot, I captured this at the corner side of the location.

Career Fair Appreciation Lunch

May 4, 2008

Yay! We are here in Equatorial Hotel attending Career Fair Appreciation Lunch. We were eating Japanese cuisine and it has been a long time I never had my Japanese meal and most of the time I don’t get used to it especially the raw fish, others like sushi, desert, miso soup and tempura were enjoying.

In the middle of enjoying our meal.

Shirley took this ice-cream with chocolate sauce topping.

And of course not to forget photo taking session with friends and committees as a memory.

Iron Man: two thumbs up

May 2, 2008

I am not a big fan of superhero movies, but this time Iron Man really amazed me with good special effects, stunning graphics, good storyline and not to forget awesome sound too. What gave me a good impression is they implement a very high technology mechanism to build up the structure of Iron Man, from the discovering until designing and until the peak where it’s time to battle against the Iron Monger. Almost everything you seen in that technology is 3D even the designing structure part, they made it into a 3D hologram and that’s definitely a cool thing. And of course not to forget the ending part where Iron Monger appeared and Iron Man has to fight against the Iron Monger.

Lastly I will definitely give a full score 5 stars out of 5 and if I would see for a second chance, definitely I will.

What you did on Labour Day

May 1, 2008

Today is Labour Day and it seems like time for us to enjoy after hard day of school assignments.

Here is MMU Corner and this is where I came for my dinner almost everyday because there are so many varieties to choose from.

We went to Melaka Mall and bumped into Cold Storage to shop awhile. There are so many products that are imported from overseas country and are costly too.

Gorilla Munch? Nice name for the cereal.

Anyone want to eat potato chip in dark brown colour?

This is Japanese type of Coca Cola with extra 150ml.

Shrink it, McDonalds

May 1, 2008

Believe it or not, McDonalds in Ayer Keroh branch has been caught by us for the most “outrageous” branch ever that shrink almost everything that pays. First of all the Ayam Goreng McD, it is very obvious that the quantity of the food has been decreased, french fries are getting shorter, fried chicken getting smaller piece, that’s outrageous.

Chicken breast is the top, follow by drumstick.

A closer look at the drumstick again.

Magnificent..!!! There are even flies in McD. Thumbs up, thumbs up.

Beware on what you are eating and drinking, those flies came from Zoo Melaka (Malacca Zoo) and Taman Buaya (Crocodile Park).

Capturing sunset inside campus

April 26, 2008

This should be my first attempt (I couldn’t remembered) on capturing sunset and it was taken from campus view. Basically it’s not the real sunset actually, the only visible there is the sunset that coloured a portion of cloud and I went there to take it. Comments are welcome in order to improve my photo shooting skill.

Why wouldn’t they remain the name?

April 26, 2008

Yesterday I was driving to campus, was at the roundabout entrance there and saw one man standing there giving out brochure to car owners that passby the entrance roundabout and I was totally speechless because imagine if one car stopped and spend 5 seconds to accept the brochure, then it would be a jam out of nowhere and for no reason, but I was also the one that spent the 5 seconds to collect the brochure and out of the blue, it was Regal Park Sdn Bhd brochure that want to promote their apartment renting. As far as I’m concern I already heard of Emerald Park Sdn Bhd but look at that, is it Emerald Park that we all know for couple of years? How come they had change their company name to Regal Park Sdn Bhd, that’s very surprising. We all always called it “EP” short-form for Emerald Park and now we will have to call it “RP” for Regal Park.
